Did you ever hear of the saying "Roman's Road"?
Simply put, Roman's Road is a group of bible verses from the book of Romans (After Acts which is after the Gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John) which reading, will help you understand how to be and what it means to become "saved". This 'road' provides us with a clear path towards Jesus. Though many people believe getting to heaven can be just a matter of doing right, and being nice to others, God firmly spoke that no one, except Jesus, His own son could live up to His standards when it comes to righteousness, thus, He has given us a road to walk upon, a detailed map, to help us find our way there.
We must acknowledge God as the Creator of everything, accepting our humble position in God's created order and purpose. Romans 1:20-21
Rom 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Rom 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love in this: While we are still sinners, Christ Jesus died for us.
Rom 10:9-10 9 If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, then you will be saved.10 For it is with the heart, that you believe and are justified in righteousness, and with the mouth, you confess and are saved!
